Into the Wilderness (ITW) is a Christian outdoor leadership education and wilderness adventure ministry based in Turin, Italy. Founded in 2009, ITW seeks to dispel the myth that following Jesus is boring through outdoor adventure and experiential learning.
Our programming activities include camping, rafting, canyoning, fishing, trekking, rock climbing, backpacking, mountaineering, back country cooking, alpine and back country living, orienteering, and community building.
ITW adventures occur in the heart of the Italian Alps in the regions of Piemonte and Val d’Aosta, near MonViso, Massif and Gran Paradiso National Park.
